Chapter one of my wedding blogs

So Andy and Steph contacted me from the Isle of Man earlier in 2022.

Andy, originally from Shelley in Huddersfield, had flown the nest and met Steph, where they lived on the island.

You may ask, How on earth do you organise wedding flowers at such a distance?

With lots of WhatsApp messages and phone calls, we came up with ideas for a wonderful April wedding at The Woodman in Thunderbridge, a fabulous venue to work at and dress for what was going to be a beautiful fairy tale wedding.

In December 2022, we finally met at The Woodman, where even more ideas were exchanged and the excitement began to grow.

Let's leap forward now to the day before the wedding. Using beautiful English-grown flowers along with tasteful and excellent-quality imported flowers, myself and Ann from Floral Moments began to produce stunning trough designs for down the aisle, a broken arch for the backdrop of the registrar's table, and vase designs for the table centre pieces.

We were enthused by all the stunning variations of white flowers, but the one that stood out the most was the anemonie from English growers Smith and Munson. They were just like paper, and the comments we had about them were so complimentary.

The day of the wedding was a rainy April day, but that didn't spoil the happiness of Andy and Steph's day. They never stopped smiling, and what a great thank you we received for all our hard work.

“Andy and Steph”

"Thank you so for everything ,the flowers were amazing  …so many complements
